Trakya University 2. International Mail Art Competition

Rules:

• The Competition is open to all artists 15 years of age or older.
• Selection Committee members can not join the Competition. If a member will not be able to attend, lecturers from Trakya University Faculty of Fine Arts will be called to replace them. 
• Artworks previously exhibited or which brought a prize can not be submitted.
• Competitors can participate with maximum of one piece.
• Competitors will write their name and surname, signature, age and e-mail on the back of the works.
• Works containing any form of racism or sexism will not be considered for the Competition.
• Competitors agree by entering this Competition that the right of use of winning artworks belong to Trakya University.
• Any issues unspecified hereby with these rules will be dealt by the Committee.
• Artworks will not be sent back.
• All the submitted artworks will belong to Ilhan Koman Sculpture and Painting Museum.

Size and technical
• A4 size There can be any kind of technique on paper such as charcoal, dry pencil, felt pen, pastel, watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, Linoleum, Serigraphy, Engraving. (Not just digital printing)

Evaluation Criteria
Only 100 works will be exhibited within the works that are submitted to the competition. 9 awards will be awarded from 100 works.

Giving awards 
The winners qualify to enter the degrees will be awarded at the event organized by the University of Trakya. Contest winners will be exhibited within the specified period and artifacts found worthy of exibition.

First Prize: Faber Castel Watercolor Pencil Albrecht Dürer (120 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Second Prize: Caran D’ache 788-340 40 Renk Pastel Pencil (40 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Third Prize:  Faber Castel Watercolor Pencil Albrecht Dürer (60 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Three mansion Prizes: St. Petersburg White Night Artist Watercolor (36 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Awards for those under 18

Jury Insentive Award: Faber Castel PITT Pastel (36 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Jury Special Award: Faber Castel PITT Pastel (24 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Jury Achievement Award: Faber Castel PITT Pastel (24 Colours) & Certificate of Achievement

Participation will be awarded with Certificate of Achievement

The return of the works
Works submitted to the contest will be not returned.
